Mai Thai is a homozygous daughter of our foundation mare, the homozygous Margherita. Her sire is the trakehner-stallion Kaschmir. He sired some approved sons, and has over 30 daughters who are breeding active, and the same amount has been active in sport, mostly in show jumping and eventing. Grand sire Ilasso was the first colored stallion who ever won a stallion performance test (our Romario is the 2nd). He has a handful approved sons, and many offspring competing up to S show jumping.

Mai Thai was the first foal to be born here at Elestorp. Her pedigree is 100 % warmblood and approved by all warmblood studbooks. Among her siblings we find national foalshow winners (Landico and Maskerade) and an approved stallion, Sim Sala Bim by Semper. The dam has an approved full brother INXS. The grand dam Maftoza was awarded with premium and is full sister to the approved trakehnerstallion Grom. Her dam Mennica is sister to the approved stallion Monsun (by Buklak) and Morwid (by Cytrus). More approved stallions from this damline is Martor, Marwil and Monastyr (all by Fred), Morawiec (by Agar), Median (by Latopis), Mospan (by Damon) and Marakesz (by Borneo). The dam line has been one of the lines at state stud SK Pepowo since after WW II when they bought the mare Mantua by Merlin.
